The Duncan MacRae SL2 Bagpipes by Stuart Liddell offer a refined and traditional look, featuring full imitation ivory projecting mounts that deliver classic Highland styling. This model is accented with beaded plain alloy ferrules, imitation ivory ring caps and bushes, and a matching alloy and imitation ivory mouthpiece—creating a clean, cohesive aesthetic.

Inspired by Stuart Liddell’s own historic set, the MacRae series is crafted with precision by McCallum to capture the tone and character of vintage instruments. Though made with modern techniques, the SL2 delivers a bold, warm sound with strong bass and a well-blended drone tone—ideal for soloists and competitors alike.

Available either as sticks with McCallum plastic pipe chanter or as a complete set including a synthetic zipper pipe bag, synthetic drone reeds, silk cords, and a Pipeware bag cover with Velcro seal.
