In line with the rise in overall pitch in piping today (in particular with pipe bands), the new generation McCallum MK3 chanter offers a slightly higher pitch than the other models.

The McCallum MK3 is pitched at approx. 482 Hz - 484 Hz and has standard round holes allowing for a very comfortable grip.

Mark 1 - The original McCallum Chanter with round holes

Mark 2 - The first McCallum chanter offered with Oval holes and slightly higher pitched then the Mark 1.

Mark 3 - The most recent McCallum Oval holed chanter with a higher pitch.Chanter sole options available upon request.
