This reed is designed by Ross Watson, a highly experienced reed and chanter maker based in Fife, Scotland. Ross spent many years working with R.T. Shepherd Bagpipes, where he played a key role in developing their chanters and reeds. Now working under his own name, his Broadley reeds are an excellent alternative to the former Shepherd products, maintaining the same high-quality tone and reliability that pipers appreciated.
