The Bannatyne Hybrid Pipe Bag offers the best of both worlds — the traditional weight, feel, and balance of a hide bag, paired with the low-maintenance benefits of a synthetic bag. Its design features a genuine cowhide exterior bonded to an internal membrane. This membrane allows moisture to escape while keeping the bag completely airtight.
Players often find that hybrid bags deliver cleaner strike-ins and cut-offs, enhancing overall control. Installation is straightforward, though some effort is needed to push the stocks through the tapered collars. The chanter stock secures easily with an O-ring and clamp, and the bag comes equipped with a convenient bottle water trap for effective moisture management.
