Released in 2010, Andante Pro drums have lacquer shells, natural wood hoops with hand-rubbed finish, and hardware with thick powder coating.  The lugs have minimal contact with the shell, allowing for great resonance and solid tone. The contoured lugs give the drum a distinct look, and the materials keep the drum light. Andante remains committed to developing drums with pipe bands, specifically, in mind and continues to manufacture their drums in Northern Ireland.
